Tax return after moving to or from the Netherlands in 2025

Did you move to or from the Netherlands in 2025? Then you can file your Dutch income tax return between 1 May and 1 July 2026. You must use the special M-form for people who lived in the Netherlands for only part of the year. This form is available later than usual. Log in via Mijn Belastingdienst and select the correct tax form.

If you submit your tax return by 1 July 2026, you will not pay tax interest if you have to pay extra tax. You can request an extension via Mijn Belastingdienst.

More information is available on the official Belastingdienst website.
