The Border Information Points along the German-Dutch border are organising a consultation day on this topic on Wednesday 18 March 2026. During this digital consultation, you can speak directly with employees of the relevant authorities.

Arrange your individual consultation appointment now and we will answer your questions about

  • Kindergeld
  • Kindgebonden Budget
  • Kinderbijslag
  • Ouderschapsverlof
  • Elternzeit
  • Elterngeld
  • Kindergeldzuschlag

The family benefits consultation day will take place between 9.45 a.m. and 4.30 p.m. Personal consultations are limited to a maximum of 45 minutes.

Experts from the Familienkasse Rheinland-Pfalz-Saarland, Elterngeldstellen near the border, an office in Nordrhein-Westfalen responsible for Kindergeldzuschlag, the Sociale Verzekeringsbank (Bureau voor Duitse Zaken) and the GrenzInfoPunkte will be present at the meeting to answer your personal questions.
